In carefully pooling together sports event specialists from around the world, Pico helped to ensure well-deserved success for national sporting bodies such as the Korean Olympic Committee and the Hong Kong Olympic Equestrian Events Committee. Many TV networks, Olympic sponsors and partners also benefited from our expertise.
Our key responsibilities included handling event logistics management for the 106-city nationwide torch relay. While in Beijing itself, we helped many Olympic sponsors and partners to conceptualise, develop and build impressive showcases. Our expert teams also helped create world-class hospitality suites for a wide range of renowned consumer brands and national houses and provided interior fit-outs for many TV broadcasting studios.
In Hong Kong, we looked after the design and execution of the look programme for the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Test Events, the Hong Kong leg of the 2008 Olympic torch relay and the actual Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events themselves. Our on-site teams also provided hundreds of porter-cabin type sanitary units for both Equestrian Events.
